Cheng Chen excited about his baptism this Sunday

Cheng Chen excited about his baptism this Sunday

Update: El Presidente de Kairos 2, Cheng Chen, will be baptized this Sunday! Come join us for the Baptism Service at 1:30pm @ Willard Middle School to support Cheng! We’ll also go somewhere for food afterwards to celebrate.

Hi everyone, hope y’all had the chance to work off all that Thanksgiving food. Hope you’re all having a good time at home! Those of us who are still up here are holding down the fort… whatever that means. Boy, can you believe that it’s almost December? You know what that means, right? You got it! Finals! Haha, just kidding (though it is true)… here’s what we’re having this week:

Friday Bible Study & White Elephant Gift Exchange

We’re going to have Bible Study at Andy & Amy’s this Friday — let’s meet at Crossroads at 6pm! Please remember to bring a gift that is roughly about $10 (and please wrap it — doesn’t have to be too fancy)! We’ll do a gift exchange immediately after Bible Study, so you don’t want to miss that! Trust me, it’ll be a fuuuun time! (BTW, no more potluck, but dinner will still be provided.)

Angel Tree

Every Christmastime for the past few years, we at Gracepoint Fellowship Church participate in a program called Angel Tree. In short, we purchase and deliver gifts to children of inmates in their parent’s name. This is especially precious because (1) it tells them that they are not forgotten by their parents and (2) there is a larger community out there that cares for them. If you’re interested in participating, please let me (Abe) know!
