Latest Recipe on Dish-Gracepoint

As many of you have heard, we have a new blog that is quickly becoming a great resource for any small group gathering here at Gracepoint, Berkeley. Not to be confused with Dis-Gracepoint, Dish-Gracepoint is a site that Tom Kim of A2F created in order to help anyone preparing food for groups of 2 to 50 (give or take a hundred)! He reveals many of his recipies, where to buy meats, useful tips, and secrets of cooking.

When I first heard about this site, I asked Tom what his plan was for it. He said, and I quote, “Well, I want people with little to no cooking experience, the Abe Yang’s of the world,  to be able to make a great small group dinner!”

Each recipe comes with "Tom's Tips and Tricks"

Well, if that’s true, then how could I hide this incredible site! So if you want to learn how to cook, increase in your competence in the kitchen, or simply cook a meal for the staff (haha), check out this site!

Here’s to some great Kairos dinners and awesome small group meals. Boy, I’m getting hungry just writing this post!!

Hmmm, Andy…are you suggesting something? Haha, yeah, I’ve checked out the site before, it’s pretty good but sometimes Tom assumes you know what he’s talking about, that you are as fast or at least decent in the prep/cook times. So if you are really bad at cooking, the Abe Yang’s of the world then plan a little ahead 😛

Well, that depends on who you ask. haha! I think some of the guys should know as they have eaten his cooking. Actually, he’s improving quickly this summer and I think by the fall, he’ll be a master chief, at least in a couple of dishes.

    HAHA, this is too funny…
but in any case, im glad that Tom Kim decided to put up that blog, it seems very useful and I am sure all the students can benefit from it also. So, who wants to volunteer to cook for our next Friday night bible study dinner? 🙂

Hey Anthony, it’s good to hear from you. With that kind of endorsement of Abe’s cooking, I think he owes you a scrumptious dinner (home-cooked of course) when you get back! And just so it isn’t too lonely, I’ll join you guys for that free meal 🙂
