What’s in the news (5/20-5/25)

For the 95% who are still in the midst of finals, hang in there! The end is right around the corner. Here’s what we’re doing this week:

  • For those who will be done with finals by Wednesday, boy, do we have news for you! We’ll be biking across the Golden Gate Bridge in the early afternoon, eat some hot clam chowder, play some sports back in Alameda, have some BBQ for dinner, then finish the night off with a movie. If you’d like to join us (and haven’t told us so already), please let us know!
For those who are going, here’s some additional info you’ll need to know:

    • We’ll be meeting in front of Crossroads at 10:30am
    • Please bring your own water bottle and money for lunch.
    • Remember to dress warmly! It’ll be cold and windy as we ride across the bridge
  • In other news, we’ll have a combined Bible Study this Friday at First Pres, starting at 7pm.
  • Sunday Worship Service: 11:45am at Willard Middle School.
  • Memorial Day Picnic this Monday @ Paradise Park: if you plan on going, please sign up ASAP (by Wednesday noontime)! We need to know how much food to prep.
Graduations this week:

Molecular & Cell Biology @ 9:00am (Greek Theatre)
– James Yoon
– Jenny Xu
Saturday, May 24
College of Chemistry @ 7:00pm (Zellerbach Auditorium)
